the Creative Commons Canada 2.5 Licence It is fine with me that anyone who wishes to modify rerecord or alter my music to have that ability sole as long I was the creator of the composition, it is also fine with me that those works can be transmited and distributed as long as profit is not involved. Cds/ or sold media of music where I am the maker of a particular song, a person may modify rerecord or alter. If my work was used in a broad sence or if it is aparent that I can be identified in it. That I be given acknowledgement. (This also applys to profitable and non profitable works) Commercial works: Now if my music was used in a sense where profit is gained, I would most definetly be interested in a reasonable share of the profits. If profit is not gained and I am identified in the Commercial work I am not interested in any type of payment of any kind (This of course applys as of Nov 5th/2008 since my details have changed.) ____________________________________ What about collaborations you ask? If I have composed a song were other people are involved in the composition I suggest you contact the other authors of the collaboration to find out what they think about their rights to the particular song.
